Age: Looks young adult-ish
Race: Halfling (vampire/elf)
Gender: male
Weapon: His powers
Powers: photokinesis, umbrakinesis, pain manipulation, vocal suggestion, scrying on the wind, electrokinesis, general Magic
Occupation: rich child
Affiliation: Beurocracy
Description: as pale as a wraith, he looks like he could fade out of existence at any moment, except for the dark or colored clothing that he favors over the white his brother dresses in. White is too revealing, and Nat complains if there’s any blood stains. Hal has nearly identical features to his brother. In fact the most differentiating things about them are their difference in expression. Nat in all white with murder on his face, and Hal in black usually looking much more bored. Their voices are also distinct, to those who spend enough time around them to tell. Hal sounds bored or sarcastic unless he's talking about his passion, and then he'll speak with so much animation and speed only a few can keep up.
Personality: For the most part Hal is disinterested. He's easily bored with politics, history or economics; studies about people. He wouldn’t even keep up with current events if it weren't for his brother. If you're not an Approved Person (tm), he'll be apathetic and wont put in much effort unless he has to be polite for political reasons that are important to Nat. Only if both he and Nat like and trust a person do they become an Approved Person (tm) who he has no problem sharing his (sarcastic) opinions, or talking for hours about powers and magic to. (So mostly he talks to Nat).
Hal is transfixed by power in any form, including political, but especially his magic. Since he was young his goal has been to become as powerful as he possibly can. Hal will do anything to gain more power, including risking life and limb, especially when it’s not his life or limb. He already has six powers, and the magic he's taught himself to use. His medium is a silver ring decorated by an emerald. Its small, but surprisingly sharp, so it's multipurpose. Hals obsession started when he gained his sixth power as a child, after a tragic accident that he will refuse to talk about. He saw his powers as the only way to stay equal with Nat. Not really because he feared being left behind or becoming the "worse" twin, but because he didn't want his relationship with Nat to change as it would if he were lame for the rest of his life. Even if they have different callings, Hal is determined that they will stay on equal standing. He won’t follow Nat, or cling onto the tails of his brothers achievements.
He will not allow anyone but him or his brother to claim the thrown. It’s one of the ultimate forms of power he can seize. Despite his disinterest in politics and paperwork, like a moth to a flame he can't help circling. He competes just as fiercely as any of his brothers so that none of them can know his real plans. But what he wants is to put his brother on the throne. When Nat becomes king Hal will share that power by dint of being the closest person to him. He won’t share the burden but he'll be close enough to the flame to enjoy the warmth. And still free to pursue his work with his powers.

![Picture](/uploads/1/7/9/6/17960521/801455165.jpg?444)
Age: Sixteen years, four months, twelve days, fifteen hours and 31 minutes, if you want to be precise.
Race: shifter (witches cat, obviously)
Gender: girl
Weapon: Wren? she is dangerous
Powers: heightened senses of a cat, mental precision with numbers and positioning.
Occupation: a steak
Affiliation: Wren
Description: Ursa is smol and weak. Her skin is a dead grey color, because individual cells are turning to stone. She could probably pass for a zombie rly easily. She has long blond hair that was shaved once when she was little and since then she's bitten the nurse whenever one of them tried to cut her hair.(not that that would actually stop them because she is small, but they let her win anyway) She's got a mysterious tattoo on her back that has to do with mysterious past events that will remain a secret because I haven't come up with them yet.
Personality:
If Ursa had a tumblr, she'd reblog only fake astrology posts, tag yourself memes, and aesthetic pictures of stars and cats. She doesn't have a tumblr however because it doesn't exist. Also she is a complete hermit and knows nothing of society so if it did exist, she wouldn't know. Ursa is easily amazed by all the things and people in the outside world, because they are all new and exciting. She doesn't know how to react normally to things, so sometimes she'll just be confused by something that makes everybody else scared or excited. Like if someone came up to her with a knife and asked for her purse, they'd have to explain what they were doing and why, and she'd probably ask to look at their knife (and then just hand it back to them without trying anthing, if they did let her.) She also has no reference for other peoples pain or suffering, because her experiences and also her partly-stone body are so deviant from normal. She probably has to ask Wren "Why is that dude crying in the cemetary?" or "Why is that lady screaming, its just a cut?" But not because she's a psychopath or anything. She is a small cream puff who is trying her best to understand and be sensitive, but she has a lot to learn. Her catch phrase should probably be "This is fine???"
Ursa does not give two shits what happens to her physically "hit me with you car, I'm dying anyways." Which is probably very convenient for Wren. Wren chose well, except for the fact that Ursa was raised to hate magic with all of her heart. Because it was responsible for her curse, so it was evil incarnate in her eyes. But she will slowly learn to trust magic as she learns to trust Wren. Not because Wren is a steadfast friend, but because her temperament is dependable. Ursa's going to spend a heck of a lot of time with her and is going to learn to anticipate most of the things she does. Ursa does the explaining and apologizing for Wren and tries to be very sympathetic and helpful to all the poor people. She is much less sympathetic to Wren, because you get what you give. She will be purposefully obnoxious and do things like pretend she can't understand the perfectly clear directions Wren gives, while playing it perfectly innocent. But she'll only do it occasionally, and the rest of the time she is not a sarcastic person, so it's hard to tell if she's messing with you or not. Ursa is smol but feisty. She's gotta be to chill with Wren. She is physically pretty worthless, but always Ready 2 Fite (tm), especially about whether or not she's right about time or location (Its not 11:31, its 11:30 and 45 seconds, fight me bitch). She also eventually learns how to turn into a cat with Wrens help, and make trouble that ways, because she could never shift before because she was slowly petrifying.
History: When Ursa was seven she was cursed to slowly turn to stone over the next twenty years. Since then she's been confined to her house, which has been turning into a hospital by the 3 nurses and 2 doctors who have been hired to slow the personification process. Her life for the last eight years and six months has pretty much been increasingly miserable, because being turned to stone makes you painfully sick, and the treatments also make you painfully sick, a little bit like cancer. So Ursa spends a lot of her time too weak or in too much agony, or too nauseated to move around much. the rest of her time she spends sitting and waiting, unable to do much beside read books or talk to her doctors. and all of that is made worse by her powers. Ursa has a very precise inner clock and map, so she always knows where she is and what time it is, or how long something is taking. She she ends up counting seconds, while she's unable to do anything, or while she's in extreme pain, which makes everything feel a lot longer and more unbearable. If only because Wren saved her from having so sit for very long ever again, Ursa would pick to go with her every time.
Kin: Somebody rich who only cares marginally, but has money to waist paying people to take care of her.
-small and weak
-long hair bc she'll bite you if you come near it
-mysterious tattoo on her back
-turning to stone on a cellular level
-probably in lots of pain a lot
-hates being left alone to count seconds bc that makes waiting worse
-easily amazed by pretty much everything, but not quite sure how she should react to things
- like probably wouldn't realize what was happening of someone tried to mug her
-a smol puff who is trying to understand and be sensitive but she has no reference to other peoples suffering
-hates magic a lot bc of the curse that's petrifying her
-but would rather go with wren than back to her hermit hole
-hit me with your care i dare you, im dying anyways
-ready to fight
- not sarcastic but will be purposefully obnoxious sometimes
-but only on occasion so you can't tell whether she's messing with you or not
History: When Ursa was seven she was cursed to slowly turn to stone over the next twenty years. Since then she'd been confined to her house, which had been turning into a hospital.

Age: 13
Race: elf
Gender: female
Weapon:none
Powers: Geothermal/terra- kinesis
Occupation: smol
Affiliation: ummmmmm
Farai is confused and not in control. She only has one power but its way too powerful for her.
She's afraid of hurting a bunch of people, or of being used by somebody evil, once they figure out that she's strong.
she has no choice but to be trusting of other people, tho they shouldn't trust her, since she's not in control.
still very innocent and childlike
Left her home/family because she didn't want to hurt them
lives with some poor kid
probably going to have to be a lot more responsible that a 14 year old should have to be
will turn into the cool smol child who works with the important adults
actual Disney princess, but with world ending powers this time
Kin: She may have killed them

Morgan
![Picture](/uploads/1/7/9/6/17960521/197447476.jpg?417)
Age: 15
Race: human
Gender: shhh
Weapon: Pistol/ long heavy metal tools that are handily lying around in the workshop
Powers: Sonic Psychometry, Scanner Vision, ferrokinesis
Occupation: Blacksmith
Affiliation: Pistons
Description: Description: Morgan is a stick straight figure, even after puberty. Probably because nobody payed attention to his nutrition, he’s always been on the smaller side. At 5'5" he's not tall even for a girl, and until he started working in the forges he was pretty thin. He's bulked out a little from all the heavy machinery, but he can still pass for younger than he is. He's got short, thick dark brown hair and eyes the same color. His skin is dark gold, lighter than His mother’s but darker than His fathers, and marked with freckles and little scars from puberty.
Personality: Morgan never thought much about His gender. When he was little his mother said she was a girl, so he was. And when he was older, people assumed he was a boy, so he was. Neither way bothered him because he's never defined herself in terms of gender. Morgan feels connect to the other girls, and empathizes with what they have to go through, but he's never felt any call to assert his femininity or stand with them as a slipper. He's a blacksmith, and if only boys are blacksmiths, then he's a boy. He will try to stand up for the girls if given a chance though. Morgan is a compassionate soul, he likes fixing things and helping people when he can. Fixing and making things really is his calling, especially if those things are mechanical. His powers make it a piece of cake for him to worth with any machinery, since he can tell how something is made, or what’s broken by just listening. And if it’s metal he can fix it with a thought. He loves puzzles and working through complex designs even if it’s something he can’t use his powers on though. Riddles and political set ups, human things, don't make nearly as much sense to him, but she'll still try.
Morgan is pretty quiet, but not shy. He's just private. He didn’t grow up as a boy so he didn’t already have friends among them. But he's not uncomfortable talking to them, or standing up for himself. Morgan definitely won’t let himself, or anybody else he cares for be pushed around, and he'd have no problem risking all kinds of trouble to face down injustice. He seems like she could be the kind of dude that would become the chosen one even though he has no relevant skills, just because he's pretty and "not like the others." If he were, he would follow through and end up on a quest and find true friendship and sacrifice himself for the others. But pls do not actually chose Morgan for anything he is smol and would die.
History: He was born to a regular mother who worked a regular job. Unfortunately his father was part of the pistons, so he was indoctrinated, fortunately Morgans father doesn't pay much attention so he never noticed that his "daugher" took a boys job. Or possibly he never noticed Morgan was a girl. Since he was ten he's worked in the factories and forges, and it’s taken him years to earn respect as a blacksmith.

Zolin Didaren
![Picture](/uploads/1/7/9/6/17960521/3710052.jpg?328)
Age: 23
Race:shapeshifter (tiger)
Gender: male
Weapon: two short swords
Powers:
Occupation: Steamhand
Affiliation: Pistons
Description: at least Zolin is a hot loser. Self-loathing for most things that he can’t explain keep him up at night, but at least he doesn't have many worries about his appearance. Zolin knows he's hot. Or at least he's convinced himself that’s mostly true. He's tall, at 6', without looking stretched or underfed, though he only exercises as much as is absolutely necessary. He's got a pretty face, with features that could look delicate if he took more care of himself. He's pale skinned with blue eyes and blond hair. Though the hair has been dyed multiple times so streaks of other colors still remain. Zolin has let it grow out long enough that it’s stopped looking "too long" for a guy, and now looks purposeful. He keeps it in a pony or a braid most days.
Personality: Zolin the embodiment of the picture of the dog in a fedora sitting in a burning room saying, "This is fine." He acts cavalier and sarcastic, but not in a cool way, more in a that’s-not-an-appropriate-reaction way. He can be moody, just like you'd expect of the tiger that is his other form as a shapeshifter. He’s hot and cold. He likes interactions to be on his terms, all though his terms are usually determined by if his mental state is good enough for it, or if he can summon enough energy to even say hello. When he feels okay, talking to people is one of his favorite pastimes. Zolin has a large mouth and will say just about anything to anybody. He's not afraid to be a smartass to someone twice his size, or rudely honest to someone three times his age. He calls it as he sees it. Getting into fights is a particular skill of his. Winning them isn’t so much, unless he transforms, then training or not, he's pretty formidable.
Zolin never had a problem with death, and though he's never tried to kill himself, he's never tried to exercise caution in possibly dangerous situations. Thus his reactions to life threatening things, or near death experiences are usually "haha do it I dare you," or "did something just happen?" The problem he does have is with authority and showing the proper respect. Half because he's natural not very perceptive so he has no idea who these people are or what they want. And half because he doesn't care. He doesn't understand what gives these people the authority to tell him what to do, so he'll wave off direct orders with a "nah, no thanks."
Zolin doesn't appear to take most things seriously. He spends most of his time fucking off instead of anything productive. He rarely evet reports back to the Pistons because he's lazy and inattentive so he makes a shit spy. He's also not very loyal. Zolin would sell you to hell for one corn chip. He's never been part of a group that inspired loyalty or hard work. If he did, he'd be fiercely territorial, and probably get into twice as many fights in their defense. Like a louder more mouthy little Steve Rogers.
History: His father tried his very best to do his fatherly deity and beat Zolin into shape to be a good soldier for his cult, but instead he just got a disrespectful disaster. Zolin's mother wanted nothing to do with them so he doesn't remember her, and he can't blame her. He never really wanted anything to do with his father either. Saying they never got along is an understatement. Zolin will speak of it lightly, but his childhood is not something he ever wants to remember. And he'd be happy to watch his father die. He never wants to face that helplessness and humiliation again. When he was old enough he did the only thing he could think off and escaped the factions to spy as a steamhand.
